What exactly is a Carter Cousin Convening?
(We don’t know. It’s never happened before.)
Here’s how it will probably go.
The Carter Cousins will hang out. The parents of the Carter Cousins can hang out too. Just not with us all the time.
On Friday, we’ll do stuff around the Akron/Canton area. Maybe we’ll visit the Troll Hole Museum. Maybe we’ll go hang with the felines at a cat cafe. If you feel the need to center yourself, there’s the Mindfulness Walk at Petros Park. The options are endless.
On Saturday, we will all gather for a meal at Boettler Park. Hopefully someone will bring food.
Saturday evening, the Carter Cousins and their spouses will have a cousin-only dinner. No kids allowed. No parents allowed. It’s going to be awesome.
And Sunday? Well, Sunday might include some aliens, or some football, or some aliens playing football. Maybe it will include all three!
The rest of the time, who knows? We’re all good with uncertainty, right? A little ambiguity? A little chaos?
No?…well, too late. We’re bringing the chaos.
